Baden, Duchy. A Veteran Society Medal, Silver Grade Buy Now Silver and gold-coloured bullion wire(Erinnerungsmedaille fr Vereine im Badischen Militvereins Verband). Instituted on 2 August 1895. A large oval medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse centre presenting the Baden griffin with the coat of arms, circumscribed by the inscription GROSSHERZOGTHUM BADEN 1870 (GRAND DUCHY BADEN 1870), the reverse centre presents the imperial eagle, circumscribed by the inscription DEUTSCHES KAISERREICH 1871 (GERMAN EMPIRE 1871), measuring 68. 14 mm
