Hesse-Darmstadt, Grand Duchy. An Order Of The Star Of Brabant, II Class Honour Cross Archive topped by inscription of “ALLES(Orden Stern von Brabant Ehrenkreuz II. Klasse). Instituted 24 June 1914 by Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig. (1914 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with dark blue enameled arms, bearing a central dark blue enameled medallion overlaid by a gilt eight rayed star, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 54. 82 mm (w) x 54. 83 mm (h), weighing
