What’s New in AKTEK iO: February 2025

As an intelligence analyst, generating insightful reports from collected data is a critical part of your workflow. This month, we’ve focused on enhancing the dashboard experience and improving data export capabilities to streamline intelligence analysis.

Let’s dive into the latest updates and improvements in AKTEK iO for February 2025.

Dashboard Enhancements

New Radar Chart Configuration for Benchmarks

Radar charts are essential for comparing multiple data points, but their effectiveness depends on how the maximum values are defined. Previously, the summit of a radar chart was based on the highest value in your dataset.

Now, you can manually set a fixed reference point—ideal for comparing against a threat level, operational target, or industry benchmark. This ensures a more consistent and meaningful visual representation of your intelligence insights.

Improved Performance for Faster Insights

We’ve optimized dashboard performance to ensure faster data processing and reduced map data loading times, especially for large datasets. These improvements help intelligence teams make real-time, data-driven decisions more efficiently.

🔹 What this means for you:

  • Faster rendering of intelligence dashboards
  • Improved responsiveness when analyzing large-scale geospatial data
  • Ongoing optimizations to enhance efficiency further

We’d love to hear your feedback—reach out to your account manager to share your experience!

New Scatter Plot Chart for Better Trend Analysis

We’re introducing the scatter plot chart, allowing you to visualize data distribution through color-coded points. This makes it easier to:

  • Identify hotspots and patterns in intelligence data
  • Detect correlations and anomalies at a glance
  • Improve threat assessment and operational planning

Data & Export Enhancements

Export Geospatial Data as KMZ Files

For users with data export permissions, you can now export geolocation data as KMZ files—perfect for visualizing intelligence insights in mapping tools like Google Earth.

🔹 Why this matters for intelligence analysis:

  • Easily track movements, hotspots, and operational zones
  • Enhance situational awareness with geospatial intelligence overlays
  • Share structured intelligence data more efficiently across teams

If your dataset includes GPS fields, you’ll now have this export option readily available.

Ukrainian Language Support for Data Imports

Intelligence analysts working with Ukrainian-language datasets can now seamlessly import data from Excel files. The system automatically recognizes column names and structures data for efficient processing—even if your interface is set to English.

This enhancement supports multilingual intelligence operations, ensuring that critical insights are accessible and actionable across diverse regions.
