AKTEK | Software Engineer (FullStack MERN)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate on Core Development: Assist with the analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of AKTEK’s products and services.
New Tool Creation: Develop innovative software tools to support AKTEK’s mission.
Task Planning & Problem-Solving: Help estimate tasks, identify obstacles, and propose solutions to meet project deadlines.
Product Improvement: Contribute to product roadmaps, gather client feedback, and participate in quality assurance efforts.

Client Support: Provide timely support for client queries, remotely and on-site, as needed.
Deployment & Installation: Participate in periodic short-term travel to deploy and install software at client premises, delivering training and support services on location.
Data Processing: Support clients in processing data for ingestion into AKTEK’s systems.
Training Delivery: Conduct software training sessions remotely or on-site for clients.

Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience as a Full-stack developer working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS).
A solid foundation in programming and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
A proactive attitude and genuine interest in working on projects that make the world a better place.

The ability to work remotely and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Optional Qualifications
- Experience in administering Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
- Previous experience in Business Intelligence.
- Previous startup experience, either as a founder or early employee.
- Foreign language fluency (i.e., Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, etc.).
