Welcome to our September update! This month, we've dedicated our efforts to enhancing performance and optimizing key features, ensuring you have a seamless and efficient experience with the tools you depend on.
Data
New Spreadsheet!
We’re thrilled to introduce our new spreadsheet—a powerful tool for bulk editing, adding, and even deleting records! You can find it in the same place and under the same button in the data table. Click to explore the refreshed design and improved experience. The new spreadsheet supports all field types, so dive in and let us know your thoughts!
New Automation: tag your dashboards and data structures with one click
If the automation section is enabled on your license, you'll see two new features: Automatic Tagging for Data Structures and Automatic Tagging for Dashboards. Here, you can create rules to tag your dashboards or data structures based on matching criteria.
Dashboard
Use the shapefile as a filter
When adding a shapefile layer to a map, you can choose to use it as a filter. Additionally, you can specify whether to display only the points inside the shape or exclusively those outside it. Pretty cool, right?
Map timeline will be "on" by default
If you're an AKTEK iQ - Areas user, most of your dashboards are likely auto-generated by iO. To improve your analysis experience, we've set the default timeline for displaying these dashboards. You can easily disable it at any time through the map settings.
Find Common Data Across Multiple Shape Filters
We’re continually adding features to enhance map interaction and enable direct analysis. To support this, we've introduced a new option to draw multiple shape filters and simultaneously identify common data (anonymous device IDs) present across all these areas.
iQ areas
Filtered anonymous devices on the map - possible actions
More ways to interact with the map and continuously improve your analysis! With all pins visible, simply draw a shape to filter them, then right-click to display a data table for the filtered points.
From there, you can group the data by any available field, such as anonymous device ID, to see the signal count for each ID. Additionally, you can export the data in Excel format or query all the devices, opening a multi-device query window with the anonymous IDs already pre-filled.
White Labeling the emails and public links
We recognize the unique nature of your business and aim to help you maintain your brand identity. That’s why we offer a white-label license for iO. With this license, all email alerts will feature your branding instead of AKTEK, and public links for iQ alerts won’t display the AKTEK URL. If you’re interested, please reach out to your Customer Success agent.
Clustering template
We know you loved the clustering dashboard template, and we're listening! We're now displaying the top 10 clusters instead of just the top 3 to provide more value and facilitate broader analysis.
Dropping a PIN at the location
Whenever you use a map on iO and search for a location name, the system will zoom in on that specific area. The latest improvement is the addition of a pin placed at the center of the designated location, making it easier for you to identify it visually. You can also double-click on it to hide it.
